Hi everyone, Tom here, 44, I run a small landscaping crew so I'm on my feet most of the day. Spent about a year lurking while my yearly physical quietly shifted from "you're fine" to "let's keep an eye on this." Since then I've ditched the afternoon vending machine runs, been lifting three mornings a week, and walking the dog after dinner — down a belt notch and a half and my knees are happier.
The weird part is I still hit a wall around 3pm unless lunch has actual fat in it, and I can't tell if that's just my body adjusting or if I'm doing something dumb. Glad to finally stop lurking.
