I’m 11 weeks in, 57, kids launched, and finally walking 2 miles most mornings. Funny thing: evenings are my calmest eating window now — I make a big pot of lentil soup or roast veggies — but around 9:30 I get that sour, queasy feeling, and by 5:30 a.m.
my stomach is rolling before I even put on my walking shoes. It’s not every night, maybe 4 out of 7.
I’ve tried keeping dinner earlier (6 p.m.) and sipping plain water, which helps a little. I’m not asking for medical advice, just wondering if this is a phase others have gone through.
Did it ease up for you as your routine settled, or did certain evening foods make it worse? I miss my quiet mornings without the queasy start.
