Consult fee jumped $49 to $99—is this normal now?

In Colorado my last consult was $75, labs separate. Quest self-pay panel came to $118. No messaging included.

The Quest markup is the eral fee. My clinic uses Labcorp and self-pay was $89 for similar panel.

Insurance was a nonstarter for me too. That matches my spreadsheet. I track 9 clinics in FL, GA, and NC.

Consult fees went from $59 average in January to $84 in June. Two added a $10-15 card or platform fee at booking. Labs were extra everywhere.

One clinic said the fee covers “provider review” but the video was still under 10 minutes. I’d love to see your 12-clinic range by state.

Are you counting memberships or just one-off consults?

I’m also noting whether follow-up messages cost extra because that changes the math for me. The cheapest I’ve found was $39 in rural Georgia, but no labs included.

I’m in Ohio and haven’t seen above $79. Maybe metro areas differ? My clinic still waives consult if you do a membership.
