My kids are both out of the house now, and I've been rebuilding my days around small routines. Since February I've been walking two miles most mornings, cooking a new soup or sheet-pan dinner on Sundays, and I'm down one jeans size.
The weird part is how much this community has become part of those routines - I check the daily threads with my coffee, and lately they move so fast that I see new people waiting for a reply or spam slipping through. I don't have any tech background, but I do have time and a fairly calm temperament.
I've been wondering if volunteering to help moderate would be a good way to give back, or if I'm romanticizing my empty-nester schedule. Has anyone here helped moderate a group like this while also working on their own habits? How did you keep it from taking over your day?
