Mounjaro and taco night aren't speaking right now and I am not sure when they will make up

For what it's worth, two kids, and dinner is usually a hostage negotiation. Last Tuesday I made taco bowls because everyone eats them.

By 8pm I was burping sulfur and swearing off cumin. The constipation part has been real too, and around 4pm I get a tired wave that makes the snack drawer look very interesting.

I'm not asking for medical advice, just comparing notes. My drawer used to be granola bars and fruit snacks.

Now it's saltines, peppermints, a refillable water bottle, and one sad applesauce pouch. Grabbing a couple crackers before the dinner scramble keeps me from eating a cold quesadilla over the sink. What's in your snack drawer for the days your stomach has opinions?

On this class of meds, my sulfur burps track with fat load and meal volume. Taco bowls are a perfect storm: fatty beef, cheese, beans, then lying down. I log dinner macros + symptom timing in Notes.

Pattern: high-fat dinner = burps by 8pm, constipation 24–36h later. The 4pm wave is usually separate—protein/fluid deficit at lunch, not true hunger. Sharp question: are you actually eating lunch, or is it coffee + kid leftovers?

That’s the first variable I’d isolate. Also, don’t blame cumin until you test it solo; cheese/beef combo is a more common culprit.
