I live out of a carry-on, so my health markers get checked in weird places: airport BP kiosks, hotel gym scales, and whatever lab is near the rental car return. Around week 6, the airport cuff stopped flashing red at me — went from about 142/90 to 128/82.
I was shocked because my habits were tiny: protein shake before security, hotel fridge stocked with yogurt and berries, and walking concourse laps instead of sitting at the gate. At my 12-week labs, triglycerides dropped about 45 points and A1c moved from 5.9 to 5.5.
Nothing dramatic, but my rings fit better and I stopped needing the extender belt on plane seats. I’m curious how long it took for everyone else’s numbers to catch up, especially if you’re also living in hotels and airports. Did yours improve by week 8, or was it more like month 4?
