I’m down 91 lbs since last spring, but weekly weigh-ins stopped being useful during school chaos. What works: a clear bin on the pantry shelf with cheese sticks, turkey roll-ups, and cut strawberries. The chips live in an opaque box on the top shelf.
After school, I make myself a plate with the kids instead of grazing while I unpack backpacks. If I want something crunchy, I add cucumber slices and call it done. The weird part is my 8-year-old now asks for the “mom shelf” snacks too.
Anyone else rearrange the kitchen so the easy grab isn’t the loudest one?
