I’m 57, two kids launched, and trying to rebuild my routines. Since February I’ve been on a GLP-1 and cooking more at home: big pots of bean soup, roasted broccoli, oatmeal with chia. I also started 30-minute walks after dinner about six weeks ago.
Before all this I was a once-a-day person, pretty much like clockwork. Lately it’s more like every third day, and this week I hit four days.
I wasn’t in agony, just bloated and a little sluggish, and by day four I was weirdly fixated on it. I drank my usual water, kept walking, and things finally moved.
Now I’m wondering what normal looks like for others here.
Is a four-day gap something you’d shrug off, or does that cross into call-the-nurse territory for you? I know everyone’s different, so I’m mostly curious about your real-life patterns.
