Hi everyone, Sarah here, 44, I do front desk at a dental office and have two teenagers who eat everything in sight. January is when I finally got serious about the food and sleep side of things — my doctor kept frowning at my blood pressure numbers, and I figured the rest of the labs would sort themselves out.
Twelve weeks of actually tracking it all: down 9 pounds, LDL fell off a cliff, trigs way better — but my HDL slid from 49 to 43 and it's bugging me more than it probably should. I've read HDL can dip when trigs drop fast, but I'd love to hear if anyone actually watched that happen in their own labs.
Mostly I'm here for the sleep talk, honestly, and to have somewhere to hash this out that isn't my husband's blank stare.
