My Sunday chopping session saves weekday dinners!

I’m about three months into this chapter, and the scale is moving slowly. The real win has been a 40-minute Sunday prep: chop peppers and onions, cook a pot of lentils, portion Greek yogurt, and fill the water bottle I actually like.

By Wednesday, when I’m tired and my appetite is weird, dinner isn’t a negotiation. Last night I made a real plate instead of grazing over the sink.

I also left two bites behind without feeling deprived, which honestly shocked me. My partner calls the fridge "the salad museum," but it’s working.

What’s the one Sunday task that makes your weekdays easier?

Hi, I’m brand new here—only week one—so this is really encouraging. I’ve been nervous about prepping because I used to buy a ton and let it rot.

Yor 40-minute frame feels doable. One tiny thing I started: I rinse berries and make a small pot of quinoa, then keep it in a glass container with a paper towel under the lid so it doesn’t get soggy.

Does the paper towel trick work for your chopped peppers/onions too, or do you store them differently? Also, do you freeze any of the lentils, or just eat them through Wednesday?

Sorry for the small questions—just trying to build one habit at a time.
