Licensed Peptides status

I asked them last week. They sent a COA for the lot I wanted, HPLC/MS, purity 98.2%, lab name redacted on the PDF. Said full lab ID comes after order. Not ideal.

Redacted lab name is a no from me. If they won't show the testing lab pre-order, I’m not trusting the directory’s one-member COA check. Maybe ask for the original PDF metadata?

Following. I’m more curious about cold-chain. Do they ship with gel packs or just ambient? Their checkout didn’t show a shipping estimate, and card option looked third-party.

Redacted lab name is a hard pass for me too. I keep a folder of every COA I've received, and the ones that hide the lab never make it past page one. If they want repeat business, show the letterhead.

Asked about cold-chain yesterday. They said gel packs in summer, ambient in winter. No tracking for temperature, though. Checkout still had no shipping line until the final step.

Original PDF metadata is a clever ask. I once found a producer name in the creator field after the visible logo was blurred. Worth requesting the raw file, not a screenshot.

Short quip: If the lab ID is post-order DLC, I'm out.

I don't mind third-party card processors, but I want the fee and descriptor shown before I hit pay. Their checkout looked like a redirect with no estimate. That's a diary entry I don't want to write.

I keep a little spreadsheet of SKU/price/stock/lot when I’m comparing.

My sharp question: for those 17, will they confirm the COA lot number matches the exact vial they’d ship, not just a generic “current batch”? And is the testing date within the last 6–9 months?

If there’s no lot-to-COA map before checkout, that’s a no from me. Also, do they post a per-SKU last stock update?

I’ve seen “in stock” linger for weeks after a batch sold out.

17 SKUs is small enough that a public lot-to-COA lookup should be trivial. My gating question: does the COA include the actual chromatogram and MS spectrum, or just a typed purity line? And does the lot number on the vial match the one in that PDF? If not, it’s a generic document, not batch-specific.

I’d also check the test date—recent enough to cover current stock, or stale from an old run. Have you asked for the current lot’s raw chromatogram + spectrum, or just the summary COA?

I track restock cadence and order-to-door times in a plain sheet, and the thing I can never get from these small vendors is a “last updated” stamp on inventory.

I run a cafe, so I'm surrounded by “just one taste” all day. What I'd add: ask if their COA lot number matches the exact lot printed on the vial label and cap, not just a batch range. I've been burned by pretty PDFs that don't line up with what arrived.

Also, do they post the actual chromatogram/spectrum or just a summary purity line? I keep a photo folder of labels and COAs side by side; it makes discrepancies obvious. If they can't show that per 17 SKUs, that's my gating item.
