I hit goal 14 months ago, down 62 lbs and from a size 14 to a 6. I have a small procedure coming up next month, so I’m not overhauling anything or doing a big “cycle.” My everyday stack is boring: protein first, 7–8 hours sleep, 6k–8k steps, two lifting days, and a fiber-heavy lunch.
During recovery I’ll keep protein and sleep, drop steps, and let the rest be flexible. I learned the hard way that all-or-nothing thinking is what got me here.
For maintainers who’ve had a setback, how did you keep the long game without spiraling?
