I’ve been around since the 2021 shortage threads, mostly reading and occasionally chiming in. While cleaning out the fridge before a family visit, I found a pen from a few months back that I never used because my schedule shifted.
I’m not asking whether to take it — I know that’s a pharmacist or PCP question — but I’m curious how folks here handle the logistics of unused supplies. My clinic’s take-back bin only accepts pills, and the pharmacy gave me a vague answer.
I have a note to call my insurance nurse line, but I keep putting it off. Past threads about keeping a simple med log really helped me, especially the one on not letting the fridge shelf become a junk drawer.
How do you deal with this stuff without turning it into a whole project?
