Honestly, i run a tiny cafe, so tasting spoons are basically my love language. Yesterday I made a new chipotle aioli and had two little tastes. Twenty minutes later I was locked in the single bathroom with the vent fan on, praying the front door bell wasn't a customer.
I've been doing okay with portions lately — no more finishing the day-old scones — but rich sauces still ambush me. I keep a change of apron in the office now, which feels ridiculous and also very practical.
I'm not asking for medical advice, just wondering: do certain foods set off that sudden urgency for you? And if you work around food, how do you taste-test without spending the afternoon sprinting?
