Hunger back, looser skin

The house is quiet now that both kids are out, so I've had room to rebuild a few habits — a two-ish mile loop after dinner most nights, and I've finally learned to cook for two instead of cooking for six and eating the leftovers.

Down 43 pounds since March. I've been sitting at 7.5 for nine weeks, and something shifted a couple weeks ago.

The afternoon hunger that used to be a background whisper has a voice again, and I'm thinking about food in a way I hadn't been. The scale has barely moved in that stretch — maybe a pound, and it came right back.

Meanwhile the loose skin is suddenly front and center. My neck, the undersides of my arms. I know it's part of the deal and I'd take it, but it's a lot to look at on a Tuesday morning.

I'll bring the appetite question up with my prescriber at my next visit. Not looking for dosing advice — just wondering if anyone further along saw hunger return like this, and whether the loose skin eased with time or stayed put.

I’m in a similar stage — the appetite quiet isn’t linear, at least for me. What helped was tracking hunger 1–10 before meals for a week, not to restrict, just to see the pattern. Mine spikes when lunch is mostly carbs and I’m behind on sleep.

In the trials, the medication doesn’t erase the biology forever, so I try to anchor meals with protein/fiber and a real dinner now that you’re cooking for two. Loose skin: I take monthly photos in the same light and do 2 short strength sessions; it hasn’t vanished, but it looks less crepey when I’m hydrated and not losing fast.

Has your sleep or lunch changed alongside the hunger?
