Peptideadvantages COA folder looks thin on recent batches

Comparing Peptideadvantages (peptideadvantages.com) against a couple other shops I've used, and the catalog side is where I keep getting stuck. What product lines are actually in the current catalog, and does each one have batch-specific purity and identity data?

On COAs, are they third-party, and do they show method (HPLC/MS), lab name, lot number, and a date that matches the vial that ships? Shipping is the other half. What are the published terms for dispatch origin, carrier, packaging, lead times, and how they handle temperature-sensitive items?

Prices too — how do listed prices map to vial size and quantity, and are there minimum order or payment fees? Trying to compare like for like before I bother with anything.

Night shifter here. The only thing I care about is whether the COA lot number matches the vial label. I’ve seen pretty PDFs that were for a totally different lot.

Also, does their folder split by product line/SKU, or is it one generic scan? If it’s the latter, that’s a no from me. Anyone actually gotten a current lot COA tied to their order, or just the same old file?

I’m just a small-town receipt-keeper, so I skip the headline purity number and look for the actual chromatogram plus MS trace, the lab’s name/accreditation, and an analysis date that isn’t ancient. If the folder only has product-level PDFs and no current lot-specific sheets, I’d email and ask for the full report for the exact lot they’d ship.

I keep a dorky spreadsheet of lot/test date/lab so I don’t double-order. Has anyone gotten a full data package back, or just a screenshot?

I’ve been burned by pretty PDFs before. What I look for now is whether the COA has a unique sample/report ID I can verify on the testing lab’s own site, plus an actual chromatogram and mass spec, not just a summary line.

If the folder only has recent lots for some products, that’s a yellow flag to me. Has anyone actually gotten a full report from them, or is it just the one-page purity sheet?

I’m the nerd who screenshots the lot number, lab name, method, and COA date, then checks the vial label when it lands. If the folder’s newest batch is older than the last restock notice, that’s my red flag.

For the catalog, I’d want to know if every listed line has its own current COA or if some are just old PDFs reused. Have you noticed whether they post batch-specific COAs before an item sells out, or only after? That’s usually where thin folders show up.

I mostly track COA age vs order date now. If the newest PDF is older than the batch I’d be receiving, the thin folder tells me more than the headline.

Last time I looked, the catalog tabs and COA folder didn’t line up: several listed items had no recent lot at all. Are you seeing that same mismatch, or did they update after you posted? Also, did shipping times shift once something is actually in stock? That’s usually my trigger to compare $/vial across shops.

One thing I’ve started doing: I save the product page as a PDF with the date, because catalogs change silently. If a COA folder looks thin, I check whether the missing batches are just newer stock or whether they’ve quietly swapped suppliers. And if the COA has a lab verification code, I actually run it.

A summary table with no raw chromatogram or mass spectrum is just a yellow flag I log, not proof. Does their site have a lot-lookup tool, or only static PDFs by product?
