Hi everyone — I've been reading here for a couple of weeks and finally made an account. I'm 47, work in research administration at a university (I review grants all day, hence the username), and April is when I finally started actually tracking things instead of just white-knuckling it — perimenopause and a desk job teamed up on me, and my sleep and labs were not flattering.
Down about 18 pounds over that stretch, but the part I actually care about is not turning into a smaller version of someone who can't carry her own groceries. I lift twice a week with a trainer and walk the dog a lot, which is not a program, I know.
Mostly I'm here to read what's worked for people my age and to stop googling things at 11pm.
