Hi everyone, Terry here — 52, I do patient intake for a telehealth company, so I spend all day telling other people to ask their doctor and then go home and worry about my own numbers.
My A1c crept up into the pre-diabetic zone back in March, so I've been tracking things since: walking the dog twice a day, finally eating like an adult. Down about 15 pounds.
The weird part is I'm sleeping through the night for the first time in years, which I did not expect at all. My cholesterol went the wrong direction though, and my doctor shrugged it off as a weight-loss thing, but it still nags at me. Anyone else see that happen and then have it settle down later?
