I hit 52 lbs down this week, started last March, and I still catch myself doing the old math in store mirrors. I weigh daily, but I only pay attention to my 10-day trend.
Yesterday the scale jumped 1.7 lbs after a salty dinner and I just logged it, drank water, and moved on — the trend line is still heading where I want.
Concrete wins: size 20/22 to a 14, stairs don't make me pause, and my knees feel quieter. Concrete non-wins: stress still sends me looking for crunchy snacks, and I don't always recognize my reflection. I'm trying to let both be true.
Does anyone else feel like the mental update arrives a few months after the body one?
