Anyone else hit a late-night snack spiral on GLP-1

Last Tuesday I had a microwave rice bowl, then somehow a discounted granola bag and peanut butter straight from the jar while my econ notes glowed at me. It wasn’t a full-on old binge, but it had that familiar “I’m not even hungry, I’m just scrolling and chewing” feel.

I’m a dorm kid on a GLP-1 and usually my cheap protein plan works: eggs, cottage cheese, canned tuna, frozen edamame. That night the plan vanished and the snack drawer won.

I woke up embarrassed, not because of one night, but because I thought that switch was gone. I’m trying to treat it as data instead of a moral failure: no skipped breakfast, back to my normal grocery list, and a note about what set it off (late class plus no real lunch).

For folks who’ve had a snack spiral or binge-y night while on a GLP-1, what did you actually do the next day to get back on track without turning it into a whole punishment thing?

Hi, also brand new (day 4) and this is my exact fear. One tiny thing that helped me in my dorm: I made a physical speed bump — after dinner I brush my teeth and fill my water bottle, then put granola/peanut butter in an opaque bin on the top shelf so it’s not in eyesight while I study.

I also jot “hungry or bored?” in my notes app. Not perfect! Does your spiral usually start at your desk or in bed?

Trying to figure out my own pattern.
