Milestone hit, skeptical

I weigh daily and mostly trust the 7-day average. This week that average finally sat below 200 for two mornings — 199.4 and 199.1 — while individual readings bounced from 198.2 to 201.8.

My brain wants to declare it done; my spreadsheet says that's a tiny signal in a lot of noise. For those who track this way, what rule do you use before you count a milestone as real? Three straight days under? A full week? Waist measurement agreeing?

I'd rather borrow a concrete rule than just pick the number that flatters me. If you have a source or even a personal threshold that held up over time, I'm listening.

I use a 10-day confirmation: rolling 7-day average under the threshold for 10 consecutive mornings, plus the 28-day trendline flat or still down. Two mornings feels too short for me because my daily scale noise is ~1.5 lb, so 198.2–201.8 is well within normal bounce.

One tweak I like: calculate your own rolling SD and wait until the upper band of the 7-day avg clears 200—strict, but it keeps me honest. Are you using calendar-week buckets or a true rolling 7?

That choice can change whether this counts.
