The weirdest change so far in this whole weight loss thing is just my library due dates

Around month five, I realized I had gone from six overdue library books to zero. Not because I set reminders, either.

I just started putting them in my bag the night before. Same with answering my sister's texts, watering the one sad basil plant, and actually hanging up my jacket instead of draping it over a chair.

None of that was on my goal list.

I expected appetite changes; I did not expect to become a person with a landing zone by the door. It is small, but it makes me feel less scattered. For folks further along: did any radom non-food habit shift for you? I am trying to figure out if it is the routine, the mental bandwidth, or just coincidence.

Tbh ha, I feel this. For me it's the return shopping cart. Used to abandon it by the curb, now I walk it back even in a downpour.

And I actually open the mail instead of stacking it by the toaster. My husband asked if I got replaced by a pod person. I think once one tiny thing got easier, the rest just followed?

Did yours start with the library books or was there an earlier domino? Also, my pharmacy tech noticed I'm not forgetting my refill pickups anymore, which is a weird flex but here we are.
