Week 9 of maintenance I was sleeping 5h40m, hitting four lifting days, and wondering why my overhead press had stalled for two months. I blamed programming, then recovery, then the GLP-1 itself. My HRV was flat, resting heart rate up 8 bpm, and I was mainlining caffeine to get through night shifts.
I added volume, then added another accessory day, which was exactly backwards. What finally worked was boring: I moved lifting to after my main sleep block, cut caffeine after 2pm, and stopped weighing myself daily.
I also stopped checking weekly load on Sunday nights because it made Monday sessions feel like exams. I dropped one lifting day for six weeks. My weight stayed within 2 lbs. Deadlift went from 275 to 325, bench from 135 to 165, press from 95 to 115.
I did not add peptides or change my food much beyond keeping meals consistent. The tradeoff is that I lost the dopamine hit of daily scale checks and constant PR attempts, but my joints and sleep are way better.
If you're in maintenance and lifts are stuck, look at stress and sleep before u buy another tool or research peptide. That was the boring lever for me.
