Reread peptide list fine print

I’m not asking where to get anything — just trying to understand the noise. I lost 62 lbs on a GLP-1 in 2023, regained 27 after a job change and a rough winter, and restarted in March.

Eleven weeks in, down 14 lbs, walking 6k steps most days, still negotiating with my evening impulses. Now my feed is full of posts about a batch of peptides possibly moving back to a compounding-eligible category in 2026, and I can’t tell if that’s mainly a recovery/injury thing or if it touches the weight-loss meds people here use.

I don’t want a recommendation or a source.

I just want to know what part of the chatter is real and what’s folks guessing. Anyone else wading through it without getting sucked into the hype?

i’m squinting at the peptide-list chatter too — a lot of it reads like batch/COA noise, not new mechanism, at least from what I can parse. In the trials, appetite and reward effects seem pretty variable person-to-person anyway.

The evening window is what I’d poke at: I started rating pre-snack hunger 1–10 and tagging it “stomach vs. stimulation.” If it was mostly stimulation, I’d make tea and do a 10-minute loop; if actual hunger, I’d front-load more protein at dinner. Since restarting my med, that tracking did more for my 7–10pm autopilot than any new supplement.

Curious—are your impulses more stimulation-seeking or genuine hunger?
