Six months in: refill receipts, shipping windows, and stock gaps

I keep a boring spreadsheet for my GLP-1 refills: date ordered, date shipped, date delivered, price, and whether the pharmacy had it in stock. Since February I’ve logged four fills. Average was $267, cheapest $238, and the longest gap between order and doorstep was 11 days.

One backorder added 9 days to my usual rhythm, which made me realize I was cutting my buffer too close. I’m now ordering when I have about 12 days left instead of 5.

It’s not glamorous, but the numbers make me feel less twitchy. Curious if anyone else tracks shipping times and price swings, or if I’m just turning this into a part-time data entry job?

Hi, brand new here—technically week one—and this is weirdly reassuring to read. I started a note on my phone with order date, quoted ship window, actual delivery, and whether I was home, because I almost missed a signature delivery last week.

Do you log the pharmacy’s quoted window vs. what actually happens? Mine already drifted by three days.

Also, does that 9-day backorder make you move your next reorder date, or do you just reorder when you’re low? Sorry if that’s nosy. The $238 low gives me hope.

I do similar but I log whether I traveled or had a weird week, because my plateau seems tied to sleep and steps, not just the med. My last gap was 8 days and I noticed my grocery spending went up $40 from stress snacking. Do you track anything lifestyle alongside the refill dates, or just the logistics?

Your spreadsheet is my kind of boring. I added two columns to mine—“walked after dinner Y/N” and “cooked at home Y/N”—mostly to see whether my empty-nester reset was actually sticking.

Weird pattern: the longer the shipping window, the more takeout and skipped walks showed up, probably because I was antsy and checking tracking too much. Nothing medical changed; the wait just leaked into my routines.

Curious whether you log anything lifestyle-side next to the refill dates, or keep it strictly receipts and stock? I’m debating a “freezer meals left” column because that’s my new margin.

I added two columns to my own boring sheet last month: days of buffer left when I reorder, and the gap between "label created" and the first real carrier scan. That second one has been sneaky useful — my two slowest deliveries both sat in pre-shipment for four-plus days, so I stopped blaming the last leg.

I also jot sleep and appetite in the same row, which sounds like overkill but showed me the shipping stress hits me before the package does.

Curious what that backorder made you realize — did you change when you reorder, or just how tightly you hold the schedule?

sorry to hijack — does your local pharmacy have a set order day, like mine does Tuesdays? I only ask because I’ve started tracking that in my own little notebook.

Back to the thread: I log the day of week next to ship/deliver, and my longest gap was a Thursday order that hit a holiday weekend — eight days. Also note if I had to call insurance for a vacation refill, because that usually adds two days.

Stock gaps seem worse end of month here. Curious if anyone else sees that pattern?
