My hunger scores keep spiking on Thursdays, apparently

I keep a three-column hunger tab: 8 a.m., 2 p.m., 8 p.m., scored 1-10, plus protein and sleep. Six weeks of entries and my trendline is behaving oddly: Monday through Wednesday averages around 3.4, Thursday jumps to 5.9, Friday drops back to 3.5.

Weight trend is still creeping down, so it isn’t a stall. I’m mildly contrarian about blaming the medication for every blip, but this Thursday thing has shown up four weeks straight. Work stress? Batch cooking running out? Some weird sleep debt? I can’t tell yet.

Is there a weekday pattern in your logs, or am I just tracking noise and calling it a signal?

Before you call it a drug quirk, drill into the other columns. What were Thursday’s protein total and prior-night sleep vs Mon–Wed?

In my six-week logs, Thursday hunger tracked with cumulative sleep debt and lower daytime protein, not the med itself. If those are flat, look for a fixed weekly exposure: deadline/late meeting, skipped lunch, caffeine/alcohol shift, food-pantry depletion.

A Thursday-only 5.9 is a pattern, not noise. I’d run a simple correlation by weekday on protein and sleep first.

Cafe life: Thursday is my big prep day and the smell alne makes me ravenous by 2pm. Solidarity.
